On 21 October 2012, she married Shehroz Sabzwari, son of actor Behroze Sabzwari, in Karachi.
Syra Yousuf began her career as a VJ at MTV Pakistan, hosting shows like Bheja Fry and Most Wanted. She made her acting debut in the drama serial “Mera Naseeb.” She then appeared in “Mohabbat Rooth Jaye Toh” and “Bilqees Kaur.” In 2012, she starred in “Tanhaiyan Naye Silsilay” alongside her husband, Shehroz Sabzwari, and also in “Darmiyan.” Sadly, 2012 was a tough year for Syra due to the sudden loss of her sister, Ruqaiya Yousuf, a noted model in the fashion industry.
